She hasn’t had heat in her home for years but Secret Santa just changed that

Vonda Zaugg’s husband passed away from cancer seven years ago rather unexpectedly. Before his death, Vonda spent her life as a stay-at-home mother of 6. She has spent the last seven years working to do all she can to provide for her family.
The heat pump in Vonda’s home has been failing for years. She has tried to do all she can to qualify for grants and work to get the heat pump replaced, but has not been able to get funding required to get a new pump – which could cost somewhere between $6,000-$8,000.
As a single mother trying to put her kids, and herself, through school, as well as provide for her family, an amount like that is not small. Right now the current heat pump runs constantly but still can not manage to keep the house above 63 degrees. The constant running of the heat pump adds the additional stress of an increased electric bill.
Secret Santa wanted to solve the problem and asked the EastIdahoNews.com elves to visit Vonda with an early Christmas present. Watch the video above to see the surprise!
