UPDATE: Missing mom and two kids found safe

UPDATE:

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says a missing mom and her two kids were located safe.

The office says that Mandy Guvenich and her two kids Tristan Wright and Konner Wright disappeared Sunday but were located by Tuesday afternoon.

ORIGINAL STORY:

WESTON — Authorities in Franklin County are searching for a mom and two kids who may be in danger.

The Idaho State Police reports that Mandy Guvenich, 35, was last seen in Weston on Sunday with her two children, 7-year-old Tristan Wright, and 1-year-old Konnor Guvenich. Weston is a small community in Franklin County near the Idaho-Utah border.

“Mandy is suffering from some mental health issues,” ISP says in a missing person flyer. “The children may be at risk with the colder temperatures, lack of money and resources.”

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says Guvenich and the children could be driving south in a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer with Idaho plates 1F-67643. The SUV has a broken right taillight and a small dent by the gas cap.

Guvenich has a red birthmark on her forearm.
