UPDATE: One highway closed in eastern Idaho due to winter weather
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — A local highway is closed Wednesday due to severe winter weather conditions.
The National Weather Service is reporting difficult roads throughout the region. Blowing and drifting snow is causing poor visibility on many eastern Idaho roadways. There are also slick patches of ice and snow.
Drivers are urged to use caution when driving.
As of 2:45 p.m. the following highway is closed:
- Idaho Highway 34 between Soda Springs and the Wyoming border
Idaho Highway 32, Idaho Highway 33, and U.S. Highway 26 were closed Wednesday morning but opened in the afternoon.
