Allan J. Summers, 70
Allan J. Summers, 70, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at his home in Blackfoot.
Allan was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Lamar and Cleo Johnson Summers on September 17, 1951.
He grew up in Howe, Idaho where he attended school. He also lived in the Shelley and Blackfoot areas.
On November 10, 1973, Allan married Debra Giles in Howe, Idaho.
Allan was an iron worker for Local 732.
He enjoyed water skiing, riding dirt bikes, snowmobiling and riding horses.
Allan is survived by his wife of over 48 years, Debra of Blackfoot; children Kevin (Tina) Summers of Blackfoot and Misty Dawn Summers of Idaho Falls; siblings Kelly (Cheryle) Amy, Dee Amy and Sherry (Dean) Smith; and two grandchildren, Austin and Destin Summers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo Amy and Lamar Summers and brother Cliff Summers.
The family is under the care of Hawker Funeral Home. No services are planned at this time.
