Every week I’m interviewing fascinating people in our community, nation and around the world.

Tracy Browning is the Second Counselor in the Primary General Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was called to the position a year ago and I spoke with her last week at the media open house for the Richmond Virginia Temple.

Here’s what I asked her:

  • You serve in the primary presidency. What does your job entail?
  • What’s your favorite part of working with primary kids all over the world?
  • You grew up in Jamaica. What was that like?
  • What’s your favorite primary song?
  • We are here at the Richmond Virginia Temple. What happens here and what do temples mean to you?
  • How many children are in primary around the world?
  • How many countries have you attended primary in?

BONUS QUESTIONS

  • What’s your favorite sweet treat?
  • What is a goal you hope to achieve this year?
  • Can you share a piece of advice that might help me in the future?
