BYU-Idaho releases Spring 2023 enrollment numbers
Published atREXBURG — Brigham Young University-Idaho has released its official Spring 2023 enrollment numbers for both on-campus and online students.
About 15,000 students were living in Rexburg during the Spring 2023 Semester, according to a news release from the university. The total enrollment for campus-based students was 17,839.
“This number includes 12,798 campus-based students who are enrolled in face-to-face courses and 5,041 campus-based students who are enrolled in online courses and/or internships,” the statement said.
The campus-based student body consists of 9,156 male students and 8,683 female students (51% and 49% respectively). The total number of married students is 4,336, comprising 24 percent of the total campus-based student population.
BYU-Idaho also has a robust online community. About 17,073 students are enrolled through BYU-Pathways Worldwide.
Combined, BYU-Idaho had a total of 34,912 enrolled students during spring semester. That’s slightly lower than Spring Semester 2022, when 14,246 students were on campus and 15,813 were taking courses online (35,223 in total).
