Cooper James Bullock, 23, passed away on October 29, 2023.

He was born on December 7, 1999 to James Dent Bullock and Nancy Edwards Bullock in Provo, Utah. During Cooper’s life, he attended schools in Rigby and Idaho Falls, graduating from Bonneville High School in 2018.

Cooper graduated from Porterhouse in Shelley in 2019 with a degree in Radiation Control. He began his career at EnergySolutions in Grantsville, Utah through 2020. In 2021 he relocated back to Idaho working for the INL as a Radiation Control Technician. Coworkers were quickly turned into friends as Cooper had a way of connecting with everyone around him.

Cooper spent the majority of his free time hunting. Hunting was his passion and he spent his time doing it with the people he loved most. Anyone that spent time hunting with him knows that it wasn’t all about the hunt for him, but instead the fun he would have and the time he got to spend with the people most important to him in the mountains. Even at his young age he had built quite the collection of mounts that he displayed proudly in his home.

Cooper also loved watching football and cheering for the Miami Dolphins. He was so knowledgeable on the sport. Cooper was spontaneous and fun, any chance for an adventure and he would be there, in any hour of the day or night. He loved the people around him fiercely, always reminding them how important they were to him. He built friendships fast as his humor was specially tailored to audiences of all sorts.

Cooper will be sorely missed. His impact he has left on the people around him is immense.

Cooper is preceded in death by his grandfather James Dean Bullock and grandmother Karen Eileen Edwards. He is survived by his parents James and Nancy, and grandparents Ellen K Bullock of Santaquin, UT and OJ Edwards of Yuma, AZ.

Funeral services for Cooper will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 W Main St Rigby, ID 83442). A viewing will be held prior from 10:30 a.m. 11:45 p.m.

Cooper is under the care of Eckersell Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to the family at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com
