Here are the candidates being interviewed to fill two magistrate judge vacancies

IDAHO FALLS — The Seventh Judicial District Magistrate Commission has invited five applicants to interview for the Bonneville County Magistrate position to fill the vacancy created by the upcoming retirement of Judge Steven A. Gardner. Listed below, in alphabetical order, are the candidates who will be interviewed:
- John C. Dewey, Idaho Falls
- William R. Hancock, Jr., Pocatello
- Penelope North-Shaul, Idaho Falls
- Tyler J. Rands, Twin Falls
- Tawnya Rawlings, Idaho Falls
The Seventh Judicial District Magistrate Commission has invited six applicants to interview for the Bonneville County Magistrate position to fill the vacancy created by the upcoming retirement of Judge Michelle R. Mallard. Listed below, in alphabetical order, are the candidates who will be interviewed.
- H. Alayne Bean, Idaho Falls
- John C. Dewey, Idaho Falls
- William R. Hancock, Jr., Pocatello
- Penelope North-Shaul, Idaho Falls
- Tyler J. Rands, Twin Falls
- Tawnya Rawlings, Idaho Falls
Interviews for the for both positions will be held on Friday, Dec. 8, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Bonneville County Elections Office, located at 497 N. Capital Avenue, Idaho Falls. These interviews are open to the public.
The Commission will deliberate in executive session immediately following the interviews.
