Timothy Scott Shull passed away surrounded by family on October 31st 2023 at EIRMC in Idaho Falls, ID. Tim was born on June 9th, 1979 to Ronald & Sherry (Werry) Shull in Boise, Idaho. In 1981, the family moved to Howe where Tim spent his childhood growing up on his Grandparents Farm. He loved going with Grandpa Sid & his Dad on various activities like feeding the sheep & cows, riding in the tractor, flying in his Dad’s Crop Dusting plane or taking the Semi truck up Pahsimeroi Pass for overnight hauls. Tim grew up playing all sports, shooting guns & big game hunting with his older brother, Chris. Camping & Fishing on the Little Lost River. Riding motorcycles, snowmobiles & snowboarding.

Tim attended Howe Elementary School, Butte County Junior & Senior High School. He was a gifted athlete & lettered in Football, Basketball & Track. He also enjoyed playing hardball & softball in City leagues. Tim graduated from Butte County High School in 1997.

In 2000, Tim’s first son, Cordell Wayne was born. 2 years later, his daughter Makayla Marie arrived. Tim was so proud to be their Father. Tim traveled all over the US to work for various companies, Pro-Em Security & Events in Phoenix Arizona. He spent time in Silt, Colorado, training Arabian Show horses. In 2007 he returned home to Idaho & established his home in Mackay, Idaho. He learned on the job how to weld & that is how he would make his living. He worked at Thompson Creek Mine in Challis, Premier Technologies in Blackfoot & also had his own welding business on the side.

Tim loved the Lost River Valley & the people in it. He enjoyed being outside whether it was hunting, fishing, camping or boating. This was always home to him. He had a passion for working with horses, taking care of his yard, spending time with his dogs Grizz, Pup & Kid. Tim had a kind heart, would do anything for a friend in need, a great sense of humor, enjoyed jokes & stories, visiting with his family & friends over a beer. Tim didn’t always have the best luck but he made the most out of life with what he had. He had a very special bond with his Mom. He also enjoyed being “Uncle Timmy” to his nephews & several of his friend’s kids.

Tim is survived by his children, Cordell & Makayla of Mesa, Arizona. An older brother, Chris & Cameron Stamos of Arco. Nephews Tanner Cheney & Ruger Stamos. A younger sister Nicki Shull of Arco. 2 Aunts, Judy (Jim) Wolfe & Janet (John) Sugrue. Uncle Robert (Anna) Werry. Many cousins & friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Ron & Sherry Shull, paternal Grandparents Roland Shull & Patricia Quinlan. Maternal Grandparents Sid & Louise (O’Maley) Werry. Uncle Roby Shull. A special friend of the family Pat & Jason Woodie.

A celebration of life is planned for early summer & will be announced at a later date. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Mackay EMT’s, Justin & Maleah Ivie, Lost River Medical Center for their wonderful care & Tim’s extended family & friends for the love & support.
