Dorothy Fenton (92) of Sugar City, Idaho, passed away peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, October 14, 2024. She was born May 15th, 1932 to Jane Mahalia and Earl Raymond Wilding in Sugar City Idaho. She attended school in Sugar City and graduated from Sugar Salem High School. Born and raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she remained active and faithful throughout her life while serving in several callings. She married her eternal companion, Robert Junior Fenton, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they were blessed with nine children, 32 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Dorothy was an amazing homemaker and she enjoyed sewing, quilting, crotcheting, canning, and gardening. Robert and Dorothy served a mission for their church in Oregon and the Phillipine Islands. They also served as a Ma and Pa with their ward on a pioneer treck in Wyoming in their later years. Dorothy is survived by her children: David Lee Fenton (Carol), Joan Burbank, Bruce Robert Fenton (Janet), Michael Ray Fenton, Kent Wilding Fenton (Crystal), Jane Marie Zyph, and Vernon Kay Fenton (Tyrie). Dorothy was proceeded in death by her husband Robert Junior Fenton, two daughters, Karen ReNee Fenton, and Dorothy Jane Fenton, and son-in-laws William Zyph, and Alan Burbank.
