Rebecca Linn Smuck “Honey” 62, of Rigby, Idaho passed away at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family on October 26, 2024 after a battle with cancer.

Becky was the youngest of four born to Jerry and Bonnie Turner in Salt Lake City, UT on June 3rd, 1962. She graduated from West Jefferson High School in Terreton, ID in 1980. On January 16, 1981 she married the love of her life Stacy Smuck in Buckeye, Iowa. Later that year they welcomed their first-born son, Luke.

While living in Utah Becky and Stacy started their own glass company before moving back to Idaho in 1995. Becky worked many jobs involving windows and doors throughout her life. Before getting too sick to work she was working as Quality Assurance for U.S. Internet which provided her the opportunity to work from home.

When Becky wasn’t working or taking care of the farm, her time was spent hunting, fishing, and camping with family and friends or teaching her grandchildren how to be self-sufficient which was extremely important to her. She was the perfect example of an old school homemaker. When she wasn’t gardening or canning, she was taking care of her many farm animals, going to yard sales or crafting.

She is remembered as being loving, caring and being able to make anybody feel warm and welcomed into the family.

Becky is survived by her sons: Luke (Lily) Smuck of Idaho Falls, Seth (Cristy) Smuck of Idaho Falls, Chad (Nikki) Smuck of Rigby. Grandchildren: Dominic, Kellin, (Alex, Destiney), Dejah, Amaya of Idaho Falls, Dayton and Maylee of Rigby and many others that considered her grandma that she loved as well. Brother Steve (Linda) Turner of Spanish Fork UT, Sister Sherry (Mike) Hechtle of Roseville CA, and Brother Ron (Brenda) Turner of Menan and many Nieces and Nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Bonnie Turner, Husband of 40 years Stacy and Nephew Cash Rapp.

The Family would like to thank the whole crew at Idaho Cancer Center for helping Becky through her cancer journey. We would also like to thank Sonny Johnson for helping us take care of Becky the last few months of her life.

Becky requested to be cremated and for the family to have a celebration of life which will be November 22, 2024 from 1:00pm- 4:00pm at the Menan Community Building in Menan, ID.
