Sharon Louise Camp Butler, 85, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at The Gables of Ammon. She was under the care of Brio Hospice.

Sharon was born on May 27, 1939, in Malad, Idaho to Wendell Draper Camp and Chloe Blanche Benson Camp. She grew up in Malad until high school when the family moved to Sugar-Salem, Idaho. She graduated from Sugar-Salem High School in 1957. She went on to attend Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.

On August 7, 1959, she married her sweetheart, Robert Glen Butler, in the Idaho Falls Temple. The couple made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho. To this union three children were born: Sherri (stillborn), Jeff, and Bradley.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was able to serve several missions with her husband before his death on November 26, 2022. Sharon enjoyed music, playing the piano and organ in church, and loved watching Bob play with the Old Time Fiddlers. She built many scrapbooks and crafts with plastic canvas.

We will miss her sweet spirit and rejoice for her reunion with Bob, Jeff, Sherri, and all those gone before her.

She is survived by her son, Bradley Guy (Kathren) Butler of Rigby, Idaho; her granddaughter, Charanda J. Butler of Rigby, Idaho; and her grandson, Tanis J. Butler of Rigby, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G Butler; her son, Jeff Butler; and her daughter, Sherri Butler.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
