43 ducks dumped and left to waste near Victor, and authorities want to know who’s responsible
Published at | Updated atVICTOR – Idaho Fish and Game officials are trying to figure out who dumped 43 ducks about half a mile off Idaho Highway 31 last week.
Fish and Game report the ducks, which were still whole and unfrozen, were left to waste on Nov. 12 off Upper Rainey Creek Road at the top of Pine Creek Pass near Victor.
“The needless wasting of wildlife is illegal and unethical,” Regional Conservation Officer Barry Cummings says in a news release. “Any little bit of information the public can provide us may help … solve this case.”
Those with information that might be helpful need to call the Upper Snake Regional Office at (208) 525-7290. You can also call the Citizens Against Poaching Hotline at 1-800-632-5999.
Callers can remain anonymous when reporting wildlife violations and may be eligible for cash rewards when that information leads to a citation.
