Every day from now until the end of the year, we’ll be posting a Secret Santa surprise, and today have a surprise for a young man named Johnny.
He was born with heart problems that caused him to have a pacemaker from birth. Johnny went into foster care when he was 8 years old and experienced some challenging family situations as the years progressed.
Johnny’s mom died of a drug overdose last year and he has been living with a friend. He worked full time, worked toward getting a driver’s license and even saved enough money to buy his own vehicle.
He works full-time and is extremely positive, hardworking, and generous. He is really trying to earn enough money to move into an apartment of his own.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to surprise Johnny, who works in construction, and we tracked him down on a job site. Watch the video in the player above!
