Man ejected and dies after pickup rolls off highway shoulder
Published at | Updated atGRANGEVILLE — The driver of a 2003 Ford F-350 pickup truck died after being ejected from his vehicle when it rolled repeatedly Sunday on U.S. Highway 95 in northern Idaho.
“The 30-year-old man, from Lewiston, drifted off the right shoulder of the roadway,” causing the truck to flip and roll close to milepost 236.5, according to an Idaho State Police news release.
The wreck occurred at about 5:07 a.m. as the driver was headed south on the highway.
The vehicle stopped rolling “at a fence with the driver’s side facing down,” the police report stated.
The man’s relatives have been notified.
Idaho County Sheriff’s Office and Idaho Department of Transportation also responded to the scene.
The wreck continues to be under investigation, the release stated.
