4A: Another state title and another accolade as Sugar-Salem’s Dawson McInelly named state Player of the Year

SUGAR CITY — Sugar-Salem earned it third straight state title and had plenty of weapons on both sides of the ball.

Running back/linebacker/special teams player Dawson McInelly proved to be the best of those weapons, earning 4A state Player of the Year after tallying 1,851 all-purpose yards and 25 touchdowns.

Offensive linemen Clark Siddoway and Brayden Pocock were also selected first team offense.

On the defensive side, Siddoway also was tabbed first team on the line along with Ben Aldrich and defensive back Abe Baldwin.
