Two hospitalized after US-26 crash lands them in river
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle injury crash on U.S. Highway 26 at milepost 375, west of Swan Valley.
The crash occurred at about 11 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20.
Troopers say a 41-year-old female from St Anthony, with a juvenile passenger, was driving a white 2000 GMC Yukon eastbound on US-26. The driver failed to negotiate a curve, and the vehicle went into the nearby Snake River.
Both driver and passenger were transported to the local hospital by ambulance. Their identities and conditions are unknown.
Neither of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
