Malad and Rockland hold top spots in this week’s state media poll
Published atMalad and Rockland retained their No. 1 rankings in this week’s girls basketball state media poll.
Malad earned all nine first-place votes in 3A, while Rockland held off Genesee by two points in the 1A poll.
Owyhee was the unanimous No. 1 pick in 6A, while Rigby and Madison each received votes.
In 5A, Pocatello received four first-place votes but was No. 2 to Middleton by one point while Blackfoot and Skyline remained fourth and fifth, respectively.
The top 5 in 4A continues to be close with Timberlake holding the top spot over unbeaten Sugar-Salem, with South Fremont, Teton and Bear Lake rounding out the selections.
