Sugar-Salem, Malad continue to hold No. 1 spots in this week’s final regular-season state poll

Sugar-Salem and Malad remained unanimous No. 1 picks in this week’s state media girls basketball poll.
The Diggers and Dragons received all nine first-place votes in 4A and 3A, respectively.
Rigby and Madison received votes in 6A.
Pocatello held the No. 2 slot in 5A, with Blackfoot overtaking Skyline at four and five, respectively, after the Broncos beat the Grizzlies in the final regular-season conference matchup.
With Sugar-Salem at the top, east Idaho is well represented in the 4A rankings with South Fremont at No. 2, followed by Bear Lake at No. 3. Teton dropped out of the rankings after losing four of five.
Butte County, which lost to Grace, dropped out of the 2A rankings, while Rockland and Leadore remained No. 2 and No. 3 respectively, in 1A.
