The children were located at another residence and are safe, according to Rexburg Assistant Police Chief Gary Hagen.

REXBURG — Rexburg police are asking for your help locating two missing children who didn’t arrive home after school Friday.

According to a Rexburg Police Department Facebook post, 8-year-old Emilia Urbina Duran and 7-year-old Romel Urbina Duran left Adams Elementary School on a bus and arrived in the area of the Grove Apartment at Thomson Farms shortly before 2 p.m.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office says Romel was last seen wearing black pants, a green jacket, and a blue backpack.

Emilia was reportedly last seen wearing a purple dress and carrying an “LOL” backpack.

We are waiting for police to release more information.

Officers are currently canvassing the area and requesting any information about their location.
