Don Glen “Donnie” Montague

Beloved husband, father, son, and brother, Don Glen “Donnie” Montague, 44, of Vancouver, Washington, formerly of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away January 29, 2025.

Donnie was born September 8, 1980, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Milton E. Montague, Jr. and Kay Jo Holverson Montague. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, and graduated from Bonneville High School.

On August 9, 2011, he married Amy Lynn Kirkland in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Pepper and Nori. Donnie and Amy were later divorced, they however remained best friends and co-parented well. Donnie made his home in Vancouver, Washington, where he worked as a “Finish” carpenter and foreman for ARS Inc. in Vancouver.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hiking, snowboarding, and most of all being with his girls.

Donnie is survived by his daughters, Pepper Paige Montague and Nori Chai Montague; parents, Milton and Kay Montague of Idaho Falls, ID; and brother, Milton E. “Murphy” Montague of Idaho Falls, ID; and best friend, Amy Montague of Vancouver.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Virgie Holverson and Milton E. Montague, Sr. and Ruby G. Montague.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025, at The Brickyard Event Center, 1025 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road.
