Rett Nelson
Rett Nelson is an award-winning journalist born and raised in eastern Idaho. He got his start at East Idaho News in 2017 and has become the face of Biz Buzz, a weekly column highlighting local businesses.
Rett is also an in-depth feature reporter who covers local history, politics and noteworthy people in the community.
Rett's introduction to journalism began as a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho. He was involved in many student-run programs, including working at the campus radio station.
A lover of history and trivia from a young age, Rett is now living the dream telling stories he's passionate about. He also enjoys a good podcast or audio book, movies, mountain biking, boxing and being a dad.
