Amanda Wright

Amanda Dee Wright, 44, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 2, 2025, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Amanda was born August 28, 1980, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Henry McKay Jensen and Cheryl A. Johnson Jensen. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Bonneville High School. She later went to Boise State University and got her CDL.

On November 20, 2002, she married Steven Louis Wright in Idaho Falls. Amanda and Steven made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where they owned and operated A & C Transport.

Amanda loved spending time with her family, especially with her kids. They were her whole world. She also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and going for drives. Amanda loved her time camping with family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Amanda is survived by her husband, Steven Louis Wright of Idaho Falls, ID; her children, Jacob Louis (Kellee) Wright, Kylee Ann Wright, Zacharie Wright of Idaho Falls, ID; and Joseph Goudaeu of NC; brother, Davin (Suzy) Johnson of Lee Summit, MO; and her sister, Shelly Jensen of Boise, ID.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Leland Joseph Johnson, Mary Louise Sawyer, Henery Kimbel Jensen, and De Leen Nelson.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2025, at Taylor Cemetery, 720 East 129th South. The family will visit with friends from 10-11 a.m. prior at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
