Bradley Watson
October 4th, 1956 - December 30th, 2024
Bradley Jay Watson, 68, of Rigby, died December 30, 2024, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital of natural causes.
He was born October 4, 1956, in Scotia, California to William Ralph and Meridith Ann Henderson Watson. His family moved to St. Anthony, Idaho when he was a young child. He attended schools in St. Anthony and finished his schooling at South Fremont High School.
After high school he was married for a short time. Two children were born to this union. He married Jody Wuthrick on March 31, 1978, in St. Anthony. Four children were born to this marriage. Brad and Jody raised their family in Teton City, Idaho.
Brad was a jack-of-all trades. He enjoyed all of the jobs that he had. He was happiest when he was “the Boss”. He loved logging and driving logging trucks. He was a carpenter and built many homes, including his own.
He was a woodworker and made furniture like china cabinets and coffee tables. He loved to fish, hunt, camp, and ride four wheelers. Best of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Jody of Rigby; children, Heather (Sam) Munk of Pocatello, Ryan Faler of Boise, William (Samantha) Watson of Rigby, Tressa Hartmann of Rigby, Nicole (Matt) Oler of Menan; siblings, Linnie Grigg of St. Anthony, Brady Lee (Debbie) Watson of Bullhead City, Arizona, Laurie Watson of Fremont County, David (Renee) Watson of Teton, Idaho; seventeen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ralph and Meridith Ann Henderson Watson; son, Brandon Watson; son-in-law, Christian Hartmann; great-granddaughter, Izzabella; and his in-laws, Bill and Marial Wuthrick.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Flamm Funeral Home, 61 North 1st East, in Rexburg. The family will receive friends and family Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services. Interment will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
