Brenda Lanette Haley

Brenda Lanette Haley, 82, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 12, 2024, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family.

Brenda was born April 18, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Ervin Harold Hadley and Veila Mildred Wirt Hadley. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. After high school, Brenda attended nursing school and earned her CNA.

In 1960, she married Richard Franklin Haley. Brenda and Richard made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were blessed with four children. They were later divorced. Brenda later met Jose Arroyos and she was very happy spending her life with him. Brenda worked as a CNA for 47 years. She was an outstanding nurse and left a wonderful impression on all those she met.

Brenda was a member of the Methodist Church. Three years ago, she started attending The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Brenda was also a member of the Eagles Lodge.

Brenda loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She cherished her time with them to the fullest. She also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Jose Arroyos of Idaho Falls; daughter, Rochelle M. Haley of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Ranae K. Reyes of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Harold Hadley of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Linda R. (Larry) Mayes of Amarillo, TX; 14 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Richard Franklin Haley; brother, Sherdan Hadley; sisters, Orita Kinghorn, Martha Coonradt and Flora K. Hadley; daughter, Roxann Doris Labra; and her son, Richard D. Haley.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
