Carolyn spent her early years in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she attended school and spent countless cherished years with her family, creating a lifetime of enduring memories and bonds that forever held a special place in her heart. Her dedication to her loved ones was unwavering, and her presence was a source of joy to all who had the privilege of being a part of her circle. Through every season and every milestone, she showed us the true meaning of love, commitment, and togetherness, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to unite and inspire us for generations to come.
On her 18th birthday, March 4, 1963, she embarked on a beautiful journey of love and commitment when she married Roger “Kent” Robson, who would be her devoted partner for life. Their life together was an adventure, taking them to various places across the United States, including Oregon, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, and ultimately settling in Roberts, Idaho. Through these travels, she formed countless memories and touched the lives of many. She was a remarkable woman, known for her unwavering love and ability to bring joy to those around her. Her legacy is one of love and enduring bonds she formed with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Mom was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and her faith was an integral part of her life. She and her beloved husband were sealed in the sacred Idaho Falls temple, a union that held profound spiritual significance for them both. She lived a life deeply rooted in her faith and her commitment to serving others. She dedicated herself to various callings within the church, touching the lives of many through her service. Not only was she a faithful member, she lent her voice to the ward choir, sharing her love for music and worship. Her devotion to service extended beyond the walls of the church as she fulfilled several important service positions. Her role as a temple worker, in particular, demonstrated her unwavering commitment to assist others in their spiritual journey.
She lives on through her loving children: Shawn Robson, Kelli Cox, Janet (Ole) Swanson, and Corey (Angie) Robson. In addition to her children, she leaves behind a beautiful legacy of 12 adoring grandchildren and 16 cherished great-grandchildren, all of whom carry her love and warmth in their hearts. She is now reunited with her parents, Roland and Nelda Cleveland, and her husband, Kent Robson, in eternal rest. She joins her dear sisters, Marcene Ceynor and Jacquelyn Standley, and her brother Robert Cleveland, who have gone before her.
As we say our final goodbye, we remember her with fondness and gratitude for the beautiful moments she shared with us. The love and devotion she demonstrated throughout her life will continue to inspire and guide us, serving as a lasting reminder of the incredible person she was. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration for all those whose lives she touched.
