Connie Lee Warren Morgan, 83, of Rigby, Idaho passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 in Boise, Idaho. She was born March 19, 1941 in Pocatello, Idaho, the daughter of Velton Willard Warren and Vonda Pauline Swallow Warren.

Connie attended schools in Tyhee and Pocatello, Idaho. She was a cheerleader in school. She enjoyed life with her family, cousins and friends. They played hard and worked hard. She was married to Stephen Lonnon Foster who entered the Air Force, so they moved a lot, later they divorced. Her daughter, Kaylene was born in July of 1957 in Moses Lake, Washington, and son, Stephen LeRoy was born in May of 1959 in Austin, Texas. She enjoyed being a young mother.

Connie took some college courses for her GED, studying business, culinary arts, a genealogy course, and a florist course. She was a seamstress and an entrepreneur.

Connie later married Chester Daniel Marsh and they had three more children later they divorced; Melody Fern in September 1967 in Renton, Washington, Daniel Lynn in November 1968 in Seattle, Washington, and Michael Anthony in May of 1971 in Pasco, Washington.

Connie would always grow big vegetable gardens and some flowers. She had several businesses at different times. Marsh’s Hobbie House, Vegetable and Fruit Stands, a consignment shop, florist and wedding decorator. As a seamstress she designed dresses and clothing. She was a newspaper columnist for the Jefferson Star.

Some of her hobbies were canning, family campfires with singalongs and get togethers. Also, cooking, singing, and crocheting. She sang a lot, loved music and always had music playing. She loved tulips and all flowers. As she got older, she started karaoke and painting.

Connie was married to Sydney Spencer, who she later divorced. She later married Welton Eugene Morgan and moved to Rigby, Idaho. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She loved being a visiting teacher, but her favorites were librarian and genealogist.

Connie is survived by her children, Kaylene Paulsen (Ferrel), Stephen LeRoy Foster (Kathy), Melody Fern Kanis (Ryan), Daniel Lynn Marsh, Michael Anthony Marsh (Shauna), 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, siblings Velton “Kent” Warren (Ginny), Mark Deloy Warren (Pam), Jewel Ann Harker (Steve), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, many cousins, and her husband Welton Eugene Morgan.

Everyone who knew her felt loved and understood. Thank you for being a part of her life.

Connie’s funeral will be Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Ririe LDS Stake Center (14061 North 130 East, Ririe, ID) at 11:00 am. The family will meet with friends at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 am.
