Connie Susan Pearson

Connie Susan Pearson born September 5, 1952, age 72, passed away on September 24, 2024, after a four-year battle with inflammatory metastatic breast cancer. Susan is survived by her mother, Gloria Loftus, her brother David Loftus (Joyce), her four children, Rodney (Sharon), Danielle, Cody (Lauren) and Michayla, as well as nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Owen Loftus and her husband, Rodney Sorensen Pearson. Susan’s strength during her illness was a testament to her resilience.

In her younger years in Arco, Susan taught piano lessons and decorated beautiful wedding cakes. After relocating to Blackfoot, Susan worked for many years within the Blackfoot School District. She enjoyed working with the students and running the scoreboard at high school basketball games. She looked forward to taking bids for horse races each year at the EISF. Susan loved to travel and explore new places with her children and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 27th, at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center, 3100 3350 W Moore, Idaho. A viewing will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Lost River Cemetery under the care of the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Arco.
