Cynthia Jacqulyn Sandoval, 52, of Idaho Falls, ID, passed away at home on July 5, 2023.

Cindy was born on April 2, 1971, in Long Beach, CA to Antoinette and Santiago Cisneros, Jr. She spent her early childhood playing in the Manzano Mountains of New Mexico with her sister, Crissy. She then moved with her family to Ridgecrest, CA where they welcomed her brother Hago. Eventually the family relocated and settled in Idaho Falls, ID with the addition of her youngest brothers, Diego and Antonio. She attended schools in Ridgecrest, CA and Idaho Falls, ID where she graduated from Skyline High School in 1989. She went on to study graphic design at Portland State University.

Cindy married Xavier Sandoval in 1990 in Las Vegas, NV. While Xavier was serving in the military they lived in San Francisco, CA, Gig Harbor, WA and Corpus Christi, TX. It is in Texas that they had their daughter, Soleil Antoinette Sandoval, bringing great joy and love to Cindy’s heart that she carried with her always.

After divorcing in 1996, she would find love again a few years later with her next partner, Ron Baker. Together they moved to Portland, OR, and raised their children for the next 10 years.

She would find her soulmate, Michael Callaghan, while working as a server in Portland, OR. Cindy and Michael married July 6, 2014 in Idaho Falls, ID.

Cindy could find beauty in everyone and everything around her. She had a passion for art and enjoyed photography, jewelry making and so on. She liked to collect art and tiny cute things, the smaller the better. Things resembling a bubble brought her joy. Interacting with and observing the beauty of nature made her happy. She touched the lives of so many people across multiple generations and she will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
