Dalton Jade Abegglen, age 26, of Saint Anthony, died at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center due to heart complications on July 3, 2024.

Dalton was born August 5, 1997, in Rexburg, Idaho to Jade and Brandy Abegglen. He graduated from Sugar Salem High School in 2015. While in high school Dalton enjoyed playing football.

Dalton started working in the career that he loved in 2015, mixing and loading chemical for Visser Ag. He became his Dad’s right-hand man. Dalton met the love of his life, Calee Clements, in 2016. He enjoyed airplanes, hunting and fishing with his Dad and brothers. He enjoyed bringing a smile or a laugh to everyone’s face. Dalton was a friend to everyone and an enemy to none. Dalton had the kindest heart and purest soul. He was always willing to teach people new things. To know Dalton was to love him.

He is survived by his parents, Jade and Brandy Abegglen; brothers, Dalan (Jessica) and Huntter Abegglen; girlfriend, Calee Clements; grandparents, Carol and Richard Voss, and Kim Abegglen; nephew, Kaisen Abegglen; and aunt, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandma, Sherry Abegglen; grandpa, Kim Campbell; cousin Dallas Abegglen; and his best friend, Rene Alvarado.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, at the Saint Anthony 4th Ward Chapel, 507 West 2nd North. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., and Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., both times at the church. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery under the direction of Baxter Funeral Home.
