Damion James Pavlat, 25, of Ammon, passed away August 10, 2024.

Damion was born July 16, 1999, in Burley, Idaho, to Robert Harris Pavlat and Bethany Starr Morris Pavlat. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Hillcrest High School.

Damion made his home in Ammon, Idaho. He served in the US Marine Corps, and was on active duty from 2018 to 2023, where he worked as an IT Technician. He recently moved back to Idaho where he was going to work for the Bureau of Reclamation.

Damion was a member of the Lutheran Church. He loved skateboarding, the outdoors, surfing, fishing, camping with his friends and his little brother, cooking, hanging out with his two younger siblings and family, gambling, and poker games.

Damion is survived by parents; brother, Vincent M. Pavlat of Ammon, ID; sister, Meela G. Pavlat of Ammon, ID; grandmother, Robin (Ken Vaugh) Morris; grandparents, Roseanne and Kurt Pavlat; great grandparents, William and Christine Drew; great grandfather, Scott Tickemyer; aunt, Christina Kimber; and aunt and uncle, Jordyn and Sean Tominaga.

He was preceded in death by his papa, Richard Allen Morris; great grandmother, Susan Tickemyer; and great grandparents, Sharon Pavlat and Robert Pavlat.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at Hope Lutheran Church & School, 2071 East 12th Street. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Military Honors will be performed by the United States Marine Corps.
