Dan and Edna Hahn will be sadly missed and remembered for their captivating stories and entertainment.

Dan Hahn was born in Rexburg on May 23, 1945, to Arthur Hahn and Pearl Julia Seipert.

Passed away on December 19, 2024.

He is surpassed by: Parents Arthur and Pearl Hahn, Brothers Floyd, and Richard Hahn.

Survived by: Brother Kenneth (Myrna), Sister Eva (Marv), Brother Max (Kaye), Sister Ann, Grandkids Daniel (Britney) and Misty.

Dan served in the United States Army as a paratrooper from August 20, 1965, to August 19, 1971.

He was a crop duster and survived several wrecks and close calls. Many are amazed that he survived the airplanes and automobile wrecks he did. Some say he had nine lives.

He was a very skilled woodcarver and loved making many pieces for everyone throughout his life.

Edna Earl Tyner was born September 2, 1938, in Robeson County, North Carolina, to parents Bill Tyner and Susie Paul.

She is surpassed by: Parents Bill Tyner and Susie Paul, sister Pat and brother Jerry.

Survived by: Sister Helen of California and sister Joyce of North Carolina.

Edna loved owl figurines and has collected over 100 in her lifetime, but caring for her husband and family was her biggest passion.

She passed away on December 31, 2024.

Dan and Edna met at a Dance hall with friends. Dan had asked Edna to dance, and she said no as he had been dancing with one of her friends earlier that night. He left the dance hall, and Dan totaled his car. He often said Edna picked him up from the side of the road, because she rescued him as she had been a nurse in her earlier profession and helped him get to the hospital.

Dan married Edna Tyner on October 12, 1968, in Idaho Falls.

Dan adopted Edna’s son: John Daniel Hahn who was born on December 22, 1959.

Dan and Edna owned Falcon Ag Services in there early years, worked with Arlo G. Lott as a safety director during their mid years and team drove for a couple of different trucking companies in their later years.

Dan and Edna did everything together in life and now in death.

Their legacy lives on through Grandson: Daniel Hahn,( Britney) of Roberts, ID; and their Children: Bradley Hahn (Jazmin) of Roberts, ID; and Dustin Hahn of Roberts, ID; Misty Hahn, and her daughter Annastashiua Eve of Arco, ID.
