Daniel Lisee
January 26th, 1997 - December 20th, 2024
Daniel Patrick Lisee, 27, of Blackfoot, passed away suddenly on December 20, 2024, at Bingham Memorial Hospital.
Daniel was born January 26, 1997, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Erin Lisee. Early in his life, he moved to Idaho, growing up and attending school in Idaho Falls where he graduated in 2015. In December 2015, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served as a Medical Corpsman while stationed at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia.
After being honorably discharged from the Navy, Daniel embarked on a career in fire suppression, working at Mountain Fire Protection.
Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family (it was his favorite part of the day). He loved spending time with his kids, taking them to ice cream or the movies. He also enjoyed attending concerts with Alyssa. They had a concert planned for June 2025. Daniel also enjoyed outdoor activities such as BMX racing, four-wheeling, fishing, snowboarding, and he especially enjoyed working on cars.
Daniel is survived by his fiancé, Alyssa Ruiz; his son, Daniel Oliver Bryton “Ollie” Lisee; Madilyn Argyle, the daughter he treated as his own; his mother, Erin Lisee, all living in Blackfoot, Idaho; as well as his grandfather, Hank Mende of Sun Valley, Idaho. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn Mende.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
