Diana Marie Gilson
June 14th, 1944 - July 14th, 2024
Diana Marie Gilson, 80, of Rexburg, Idaho passed away July 14, 2024 at Madison Memorial Hospital.
Diana was born June 14, 1944 in El Paso, Texas, a daughter of Stephen and Milicent Kushlan. Diana married Clifford Hill; they were later divorced. She married Lonnie E. Gilson on June 3, 1983 in Madison County Idaho. They made their home in Rexburg. Diana has lived in Texas, Washington, Utah, and Idaho. She worked at ARTCO and at the Rexburg Eye Center. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed creating and selling glass art, colleting dolls and other memorable PEZ dispensers. She loved her family and spending time with grandkids. One of Dianas favorite things to do was gift her art work to those special to her.
Diana is survived by her husband Lonnie Gilson of Rexburg, daughter Teresa hill of Rexburg, grandson, Cody Hill of Idaho Falls sisters, Mary Gallaher of sandy, Utah, Vickie (Victor) Von Mertens of Phelan, CA, Brothers, Mike (Donna) Kushlan of Utah, Stevie Kushlan of Tooele, Utah, Seven Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Jason Lee Hill, sister, Debbie West, brother, Gary Kushlan, and brother-in-law Mike Gallaher.
Funeral Services will be held Monday July 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends on Sunday evening from 5:30-7:00 p.m. and prior to the service on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service both at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.eckersellfuneralhome.com.
