D’Lana V’Alae Medrain

D’Lana V’alae Medrain, 78, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 30, 2025, at her home. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.

D’Lana was born November 19, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Seymour and Delpha Danks. She grew up and attended schools in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School.

D’Lana married Bill Medrain in Idaho Falls. D’Lana and Bill made their home in Idaho Falls, where D’Lana worked as a Quality Control Inspector for the INL. They were later divorced.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed ceramics, dancing, and traveling.

D’Lana is survived by her sons, Brian (Tracy) Medrain of Idaho Falls, ID; McGavin Medrain of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Sheron (Jerry) Judkins of Mesa, AZ, sister, June Danks of Mesa, AZ; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Seymour and Delpha Danks; brothers, Jack Danks, and Jerry Danks.

A Celebration of Life will be held in July in Idaho Falls, time and date to be announced.
