Donna Mae Struhs
July 3rd, 1929 - March 25th, 2025
Donna Mae Struhs, 95, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 25, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was under the care of hospice.
Donna Mae was born July 3, 1929, in Rigby, Idaho, to Clarence and Vea Scott.
On April 5, 1947, she married Walter Struhs in Dillon, Montana. To this union were born eight children, DeAnna, Gail, Linda, Janice, Gerald, Brent, Kerry, and Vea. They made their home in Rigby for seven years before moving to Idaho Falls, where Donna lovingly took care of home and family.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in various Primary callings. She enjoyed gardening (especially flowers) and canning.
Donna Mae is survived by her children, Linda (Terry) Brunson of Blackfoot, ID, son, Gail Walter (Holly) Struhs of Boise, ID, daughter, Janice Esser of Twin Falls, ID, son, Brent Arnold (Katherine) Struhs of Rigby, ID, son, Kerry Lee (Cara) Struhs of Rigby, ID, daughter, Vea (Mike) Walton of Idaho Falls, ID; 27 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Struhs; daughter, DeAnna Wilkinson; son, Gerald Struhs; and parents, Clarence and Vea Scott.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge, in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
