Dorothy Elaine Barber

Dorothy Elaine Thomas Barber, 63, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 28, 2024, at her home.

Dorothy was born September 7, 1961, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to George Wesley Thomas and Mildred Edna Holden Thomas. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.

Dorothy made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Dorothy worked in retail as a salesperson for various different places like Fred Meyers, and Tom’s Gyro.

She was a member of Watersprings Church. She enjoyed being at home, seeing her grandchildren and family, camping, fishing, and going to church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed dearly.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Chris (Brandi) Stewart of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Anna-Liisa (Johnathan) Duncan of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Laura (Gene) Stewart of San Luis Obispo, CA; sister, Leslie (Kerry) Nisson of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Alice (Grant) Loveridge of Meridian, ID; 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Bonnie Schuldt and Georgean Miller; and son, Alexander Blade Barber.
