Obituary
Frank A. Price
November 24th, 1948 - January 2nd, 2025
Frank (aka-Frankie, Paco) Price passed away peacefully from this mortal world on January 2, 2025, surrounded by family and close friends.
Frank was born on November 24, 1948 to Alvin and Dolora Marler Price. He grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
Post graduation, he attended Ricks College where he met and married Michele McArthur in August of 1971. Post Ricks College, he attended Camera Repair School in Denver, Colorado. They had five children: Kara, Seth, Luke, Jeff & Amy. After Michele’s passing in 2003, Frank married Pauline Johnson and our family got bigger as she had three children: Breanne, Kohlae & Dillon.
Frank was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing and camping. Island Park was his piece of heaven on earth. He was always seeking the best fishing holes and hunting holes in the state of Idaho.
He loved his family and supported his kids and grandkids in all their activities and goals.
Dad made friends everywhere he went and was known by someone everywhere he travelled. He was a master woodworker and created beautiful pieces that he loved to share with everyone.
He served in various positions within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; however, Cub/Boy Scout Leader, Young Men’s Leader and Young Adult Bishoprics were his favorite. He has a special place in his heart for the youth.
Frank’s jovial and loving nature will be remembered and missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Price of Shelley; children: Kara Price of Everett, WA; Luke (Brandy) Price of Idaho Falls; Amy Rupp of Idaho Falls; Breanne Gilk of Idaho Falls; Kohlae (Colter) Angell of Idaho Falls; Dillon (Ashley) Hicks of Firth; and mother-in-law, Esther McArthur of Boise.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolora & Alvin Price, wife, Michele Price, sons, Seth and Jeff Price, father-in-law, Vaun J. McArthur, and mother-in-law, Barbara Johnson
