Hyrum “Brent” Hall

Hyrum “Brent” Hall, age 90 of Rexburg, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Homestead Assisted Living Center.

Brent was born November 14, 1934, in Burton, Idaho, a son to Hyrum Hill Hall and Vera Briggs Hall. He attended school in Burton and graduated from Madison High School and attended Ricks College.

Brent worked at the Ray Pain Elevator in Rexburg, EBRS at the Site and he was also the Facilities manager at Ricks College. He was on the Burton Cemetery board for 30 years.

Brent was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings including Elders Quorum Presidency, Bishoprics, High Priest Group Leader, Stake Clerk and was a faithful home teacher.

Brent was very talented fixing lawn mowers and small engines. He enjoyed anything mechanical, trains, small engines and especially flying with John Bagley. Brent loved yard work and gardening.

He is survived by his daughters Sherri (Alan) Rasmussen, of Rexburg, Idaho, Nicole Jones-Parkinson (Wayne) of Rexburg, Idaho, son Craig Brent Hall of Rexburg, Idaho, and brother Darrel (Lana) Hall of Boise, Idaho, 7 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nola Sellers Hall and his parents Hyrum Hill Hall and Vera Briggs Hall.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Eckersell Funeral Home 101 West Main Street Rigby, Idaho. The family will visit with friends Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 6:00-7:30 p.m., at Eckersell Funeral Home and prior to the service from 9:30-10:45, Friday. Burial will follow at the Burton Cemetery 2579 West 2600 South Rexburg, Idaho, 83440.
