Jewel “Lynn” Larsen, 72, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 11, 2023, at Homestead Assisted Living Care Center in Rexburg, after a long courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Lynn was born May 23, 1950, in Preston, Idaho, to Jewel B. Larsen and Arlene Bright Larsen. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School. He also attended Idaho State University.

Lynn was always positive and never complained. He was kind to others and helped a lot of people. Lynn had a lot of friends. He was a member of AA and sober for 38 years.

Lynn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He a gifted woodworker and talented welder. He worked in Poland for a time. He later worked for Bingham Mechanical at the INL, Ken Gray, and Forbes Manufacturing.

Lynn is survived by his loving brother, Casey Larsen, and sister, Ann (Michael) Williams, both of Idaho Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park.
