Joseph Coulter Haga was born on November 12, 1988, in Idaho Falls. Surrounded by his family, Joe passed on August 20, 2023, at the Salt Lake City Huntsman Cancer Institute. He navigated life with a mesmerizing smile and twinkle in his eyes that would light up the entire room and was the greatest of joy to the entire family.

Joe worked at a Maverik convenience store and Lowe’s Home Improvement for a few years prior to attending Eastern Idaho Technical College where he earned an associate’s degree before continuing on to Idaho State University (ISU) to graduate in May 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He began working for Wells Fargo in June 2019 as a personal banker – a job he loved. Joe married Victoria (Vika) Joy Moyers on November 9, 2017, in Idaho Falls. The following Spring, they exchanged vows in Mexico at the same resort where he proposed. Joe lovingly undertook the joy of raising Vika’s son, Keith, as his own. Vika was a blessing to Joe and he loved her deeply, striving to better their life together. He was a wonderful husband and father.

Joe loved snowboarding, fishing, camping, traveling, music, and especially sharing good food with family and friends. Beloved by all who knew him, he could be spontaneous, but was also a planner. He was motivated for success by his goals and had the matching potential for all his dreams.

Joe was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Alicia Anne and his mother, Merilee Haga. Joe is survived by his wife Victoria; step-son, Keith; father, Roger; and sister, Lora (James) King.
