Joshua Michael Lindula, 18, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 9, 2024.

Josh was born June 30, 2006, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Michael David Lindula and Aishie Mohammed Lindula. He grew up in Idaho Falls, and attended Holy Rosary Catholic School, Eagle Rock Middle School, and Skyline High School. He recently enrolled at CEI to start the1st year plumbing degree.

Josh was a kind, funny, and outgoing young man. He loved his family and friends. He discovered running at a young age and that became a passion of his that he continued until his death. He joined Cub Scouts with Troop 310 at age seven, and stayed focused and dedicated to Scouts. He recently completed his Eagle Scout. His time in Boy Scouts taught him confidence in his actions and how to always “be prepared”. The leaders and scouts of Troop 310 were pivotal in creating the man he was. His elementary years at Holy Rosary Catholic School provided him the foundation of love, kindness, and generosity that he shared with everyone.

Josh grew up boating with friends and family and loved getting some air. He loved riding dirt bikes with his dad, brother, and friends at the dunes, and also getting some air. He was competitive in all areas of his life, always pushing friends and family to go bigger and faster. He was a great friend and knew how to love others in a big way.

Josh’s spirit was bright and shining and he shared that with the world from the day he was born until the night he passed away.
