Julie Kay Coleman

Julie Kay Coleman, 54, of Idaho Falls, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Julie was born on May 20, 1970, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Raymond Wesley Coleman and Janice Kay Cox Coleman. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Idaho Falls High School, graduating in 1989. She married Dale Fullmer, and they later divorced, she then married Tyson Gillhousen and they also divorced. She was engaged to Billy Godby until his death on October 3, 2023.

Julie worked at Job Corp in Astoria, Oregon, then moved back to Idaho. She then lived in a Group Home in Rigby before returning to Idaho Falls. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was recently reactivated.

She loved Halloween, doing crafts, watching movies, and YouTube. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Ozzie Osbourne. She also liked riding her bike and playing basketball.

Julie is survived by her brother, Shawn (Andrea) Coleman of Pocatello, Idaho; her stepbrother, Scott (Tina) Coleman of Meridian, Idaho; her half-brothers: Jason Coleman of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Nathan Coleman of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her uncles: Arlo (Barbara) Coleman of Rigby, Idaho and Aldon (Glenna) Coleman of Wellsville, Utah; and her aunt, Julie Anne Cox of Pocatello, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Raymond Wesley and Janice Kay Cox Coleman; her grandparents: William Wesley Coleman, Viola Raymond, Orin J Cox, and Sybil Morris; and her brother, William Christian Coleman.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Ammon Cemetery. Cremation is under the care of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Condolences may be sent online to www.coltrinmortuary.com.
