Junior Scafe

John “Junior” R. Scafe, Jr., 15, of Idaho Falls, passed away October 8, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Junior was born March 26, 2009, in Rexburg, Idaho, and was son to John Edward Scafe and Shalae Tanya Shears. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and was a Freshman at Bonneville High School.
He was a member of the Christian faith. He enjoyed fishing, horses, huckleberry picking, the outdoors, and climbing trees. He was so kind and giving and loved to make others happy. He was easy to love.
Junior is survived by his father, John Edward Scafe of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Shalae Tanya Shears; sister, Jazmine Scafe; brother, Kaeson Scafe; sister, Huntley Scafe; grandparents, Joey (Tanya) McRae of Rigby, ID; and grandparents, John (Kathy) Scafe of Ashton, ID.
He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Lisa Denning; cousin, Cedar Colt Velez; uncle, Kameron Denning; great grandparents, Albert (Helen) Scafe; and great uncle, Wally Gustav; and great grandparents, Earl (Lou Anne) Gernhart.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5-5:45 p.m. prior at the funeral home.
