Justin Todd Crook, 44, of Idaho Falls, passed away May 27, 2024, at his home.

Justin was born May 18, 1980, in Afton, Wyoming, to Ronald Frank Crook and Barbara Ellen Davie Crook. He grew up and attended schools in Star Valley, Wyoming, and graduated from Star Valley High School. He also attended and graduated from Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas.

On August 20, 2005, he married Summer Sheree Hathaway, and together they had two daughters, Sydney and Indi. Summer and Justin were later divorced.

On July 15, 2015, he married Shannon Michelle Ricks in the Rexburg, Idaho Temple. Justin and Shannon made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Justin worked as a chiropractor for Orchard Naturopathic Center.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and faithfully served a mission in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He enjoyed Star Wars, boating, snowmobiling, motorcycles, spending time outdoors, and working on the family farm. Justin had a big heart and loved serving others. He loved his daughters and loved spending time with them.

Justin is survived by his parents; daughter, Sydney Crook of Jackson Hole, WY; daughter, Indi Crook of Jackson Hole, WY; stepdaughter, Brynlee Parmer of Idaho Falls, ID; brother, Shane (Michelle) Crook of Star Valley, WY; sister, Melanie (Mark) Slavens of Draper, UT; sister, Gina (Todd) Anderson of Dallas, TX; sister, Mitzi (James) Kwako of Osmond, WY; brother, Darrin Crook of West Jordan, UT; sister, Michelle (Hyrum) White of Tremonton, UT; and brother, David (Elishia) Crook of Tremonton, UT.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shannon Crook; grandfather, Harry Davie; grandparents, Larue and Lyman Crook; step-grandmother, Mary Crook; niece, Reagan Crook; and aunt, Marie Brough.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Lincoln 6th Ward, 3102 Pinnacle Drive, with Bishop Mike Hansen officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior at the church, and Friday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. Burial will be in the Iona Cemetery.
