Katherin Thieman
January 23rd, 1959 - March 17th, 2025
Katherin A. Thieman, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 17, 2025, at Temple View Transitional Care Center.
Katherin was born January 23, 1959, in Indio, California, to George Clark and Irene Dolack Clark. She grew up and attended schools in California until she moved to Idaho Falls where she graduated from Bonneville High School.
Katherin worked as a full-time manager for Country Corner Laundry, and when it slowed down, she worked the cash register where she met her life-long partner. On May 5, 2008, she married Jim Louis Thieman in Bonneville County. Katherin and Jim made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Katherin was a member of the Catholic church where she attended with her mom. In her free time, she enjoyed going on drives up to Bone, Idaho, and Island Park, but her favorite thing was being a grandmother.
Katherin is survived by her husband, Jim Thieman of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Tina (Chance) Armstrong of St. Anthony, ID; son, Jake Johnson of Twin Falls, ID; brother, Frank Clark of Boise, ID; sister, Sissy Berry of Idaho Falls, ID; granddaughter, Sophi Clements-Johnson of Idaho Falls, ID; granddaughter, Taycee Armstrong of St. Anthony, ID; and grandson, Cason Armstrong of St. Anthony, ID.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Chalet Johnson.
A gathering will be held from 1-2:30 p.m., Friday, March 28, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
