Larry Dean Reed

Larry Dean Reed, age 64, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away on July 11, 2024, in Ucon, Idaho.

Larry was born April 12, 1960 in Rigby, Idaho to Franklin Neil and Clysta June Andersen Reed. He attended high school and later on went on to military training. He was in the U.S Army and was on Honorable discharge.

Larry married Michelle Billins Reed on November 26, 2014. Larry was a parts manager at Grovers, and went on to long-haul driving. He ended up retiring doing long-haul driving. During his life he lived in Challis, Korea, Fort Lewis, Melba, Idaho Hermiston, Oregon, and his home of Rigby, Idaho.

Larry was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and a member of Alcohol Anonymous. He enjoyed wood working, gardening, hunting, fishing, and loved animals. He also enjoyed driving and being with his family.

Larry is survived by his wife Michelle Reed, siblings Merl (Vicki) Reed, Luanne Reed, children Sara Bream Casteel, (R.C), Joshua T.L. (Janie) Schmall, Reanna Wilding, grandchildren Jackson, Shawn Dee, Dela, Roy Dean, Baylee, Bradlee, Andrew, Hannah, Lukas, Troy, William, Wyatt, and Jesse.

He is preceded by his father Neil Reed, mother Clysta Reed, brother Rick Reed, Sister Jewell Reed Gilchrist, daughter Patrina Dill, and an infant son.

Services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 11 am. It will be at the Howe Community Center, Interment to follow at the Howe Cemetery.
