Lesa Ann Gordon, our cherished Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, age 64, passed away on December 29th, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Lesa was born September 13, 1960 in Price, UT, the youngest of 5 children to Neldon and Lola Sitterud of Orangeville, UT.

Her father’s job gave him the opportunity to travel around the country. Lesa was able to accompany him on many of his trips. Those early adventures instilled in her a love of traveling. She loved to visit new places and spend time in nature.

She was a star athlete and a cheerleader in high school. She excelled at softball, volleyball, and gymnastics and was the head cheerleader her senior year at Emery High School.

Lesa met the love of her life and eternal companion in 1972 when she was 11 years old. Wade and Lesa were married for time and all eternity on April 7th, 1979 in the Manti Utah temple.

Lesa and Wade settled in Idaho Falls where they raised their three children. She worked for many years as the attendance secretary at Bonneville High School where she loved interacting with the students. She later made the difficult decision to leave that job to go work for the family business, KV Utilities, as an office manager, where she was able to work side by side with her husband.

Much of her time was dedicated to serving others. Throughout her life Lesa served faithfully in any church assignment given to her and at different times served as the president of the Primary, Relief Society, and Young Women’s organizations in her ward. Everyone loved to attend a ward party that Lesa organized but no one wanted to be in charge of that same party the next year. She had a strong testimony of her savior Jesus Christ and in the eternal nature of families and made sure to often share it with her family.

Lesa was always there for her children whenever and wherever she was needed. She especially loved her grandkids. She would plan fun activities and assemble gift bags for them to make them feel special for holidays throughout the year.

Lesa was preceded in death by her mother, Lola, father, Neldon, and brother Randy. She is survived by her husband, Wade, brothers Kirk, and Gary, her sister Debra, her children Jason (Nicole), Laura (Ty), Tyler (Madeline) and her eleven grandchildren, Brennin, Crystal, Conner, Millie, Lily, Hyrum, Jay, McKensie, Zoey, Lincoln, and Livie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m. Tuesday, January 7th, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1040 N. Crimson Dr. Idaho Falls. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Monday, January, 6th, 2025 at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. Idaho Falls, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Iona Cemetery. Condolences may be sent online at www.coltrinmortuary.com
