Linda Ellen (Hansen) Lewis, 78, of Ammon, passed away peacefully at her home on March 15, 2025. She was under the care of her loving son, Daniel, and Heritage Hospice.

Linda was born May 13, 1946, the 8th of 10 children to Martell and Mae Hansen in Driggs, Idaho. She grew up in Tetonia, Idaho, and graduated from Teton High School.

Linda met Wayne Lewis in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, while working for his mother. They were later married on September 14, 1974, and from this union had a son, Daniel Lewis. Later, she was blessed to have a granddaughter, Linda Birchall, come into her life.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Linda found joy in her family, whether it was camping, fishing, hunting, or dutch oven cooking. Linda was also accomplished at making beaded jewelry and belt buckles. She also enjoyed making antler handled or wooden handled knives.

Linda was a beautician, worked in a sawmill, and for over 20 years, worked for District 91 in food service, where she retired. In retirement, she rode a school bus for District 93 to support students with special needs before fully retiring to spend time with her family and camp in Island Park.

Linda is survived by her son, Daniel Lewis of Idaho Falls, ID; granddaughter, Linda (Seth) Birchall; and great grandchildren, Sol and Breezi Birchall.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband; seven sisters; and two brothers.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Lincoln 3rd Ward, 2545 Mesa Street, with Bishop Nathan Zohner officiating. The family will visit with friends and family from 10:30-10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Dubois, Wyoming.
