Obituary
Linda Rae Bjornberg
May 4th, 1952 - March 2nd, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, aunt, and friend, Linda Rae Bjornberg, who left us peacefully on March 2, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on May 4, 1952, in Blackfoot, Idaho, Linda was a cherished member of our family.
Growing up in Blackfoot, she was the oldest of seven siblings and she wouldn’t let you forget it. She was self-proclaimed, the favorite child. She moved to Utah for school and eventually made it her home. Her generous spirit and nurturing heart led her to treat her nieces and nephews like her own children, showering them with affection, laughter, and plenty of sweets. On any given day, you could find her crafting fun and delicious candies at Kencraft Candy Factory, a job she held for much of her life. Her special treats became legendary among the kids, who looked forward to the joy she brought into their lives with every visit.
Linda made every holiday a celebration to remember. She especially adored Christmas, Easter, and Halloween, transforming her home into an Easter egg hunt or a yummy smell of baked goodies. Each gathering was filled with love, laughter, and her delightful creations, making every moment spent together a treasured memory.
Linda loved to read, watch movies, and enjoyed Broadway plays. She passed her love for these things to everyone that came into contact with her. Many will be able to enjoy these memories for life. She taught many of her nieces how to pipe candy, all her tips and tricks.
She is survived by her loving siblings; Steve (Laurel) Bjornberg, Cliff (LouAnn) Bjornberg, Diane Bjornberg, JoAnne Bjornberg, and Todd (Jackie) Bjornberg, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and generosity. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and countless memories.
As she entered heaven, she was greeted by her mom and dad, Elaine and Richard Bjornberg, her younger brother, John Bjornberg, a niece, and some dear friends along with many family members that have been patiently waiting.
Rest in peace, Linda. Your love will remain in our hearts forever.
